Tahoe

I know it's late in coming, but we had a great time in Tahoe. It was beautiful, relaxing and COOL! What a shock when we stepped off the plane in Dallas! I almost turned around and went back in the plane! After that followed an intense week of District Council. Remind me next year to take the relaxing part after council! What were we thinking. Anyway, it was really good to be home. This last weekend we made another quick trip to Waco for Mark Little's wedding. It was beautiful and so happy for him. Good to see old friends. At the end of this week we will head to Colorado for Amy's wedding and then from there to Little Rock for Scotty, Mark's brother's wedding, then back home. I KNOW I'll be ready for home. This spring and summer have been ridiculous for weddings. We have one more the third week of July. Ryan's! It's in South Padre. I don't think we know anyone else that needs to get married. Do we? So much for a lazy summer...

Here are a few pics from our recent trips...

Sprinkler Fun!

Ellie wanted so bad to run through the sprinkler. She loved it, but cringed when the sprinkler would hit her. But she wouldn't stop. I ran to get my camera to capture it. This was probably the tenth time she ran through. It was just so stinkin cute!

Addielyn Faith Has Arrived!

I'm not there but she certainly is! Addielyn Faith arrived safe and sound weighing 8 lb 1 oz and 20 inches long and is as beautiful as both of her parents combined! It's gonna be a long few days before I get to hold her. Thank you Jesus for a safe journey for little Addi! Thank you Lord, for blessings beyond measure and two lives that will never be the same...

A Little R & R

Oh my goodness! Lake Tahoe is BEAUTIFUL! We are relaxing! I have already read one book...for pleasure! About to start another one...for pleasure! Tammie told me about this book, "same kind of different as me". Don't read it...unless you want your life forever changed. You've beed duly warned. No really, incredible book. A must read. But you've been warned..

David has played golf everyday so far, like 36 holes a day! I think today we are going to go on a cruise on Lake Tahoe. I'm excited. The lake is gorgeous, takes my breath away everytime we drive by it. Water three shades of blue with a gigantic snow topped mountain looming around it...

The weather has been in the forties at night and 60's and low 70's in the daytime. Jealous? you should be! ;)

My next grandbaby is going to be born today, mama's working on it at this very moment...I'm sad I'm not there, but I'm there in spirit. Pray for Christal.
