It has been a wild few weeks. Well, actually a wild summer, and I am soooo tired of going. Maybe we're done. It has just been an exceptional summer. And what a great end to it when my little grayson is born. I have predicted before the 1st or on it. I just feel it is very near. I'm getting very anxious to meet him. You know when you have a picture of someone in your mind that you talk to on the phone alot but have never met, well that's what I have in my mind. But just like that person usually doesn't look anything like I have imagined, grayson probably won't either. but right now i have a picture of him with dark hair and dark eyes and a quiet disposition. It will be so interesting to see how different from ellie he will be. I remember when I was pregnant with kylah, I just thought the baby would be a duplicate of landon. she was so totally opposite, in looks and her disposition. I guess I feel like that will happen with these two as well. Whoever God has formed him to be, will be just perfect for this grama, or "elmo" as it looks for now. yes, ellie is still calling me "elmo!" she gets so excited when she sees any character like elmo and screams elmo, no matter if it's elmo, big bird, or barney. so, I just wonder what she sees when she sees me and screams just as excitedly, "elmo!" ya know? mari said maybe it's the animated way I talk to her. Who knows? But I do know, she loves elmo and she loves me. kinda cool, when you think of that way.
We had another friend die suddenly this last week, so yesterday we went to lubbock for his funeral. Fred just turned 50 a week before and suddenly collapsed. Please pray for the fleener family. They are all very dear to us.

Shower for Gray...
Last Saturday the girls gave a really nice shower for Sarah and Grayson. It was so creative. They decorated with the same theme as Gray's nursery. It was really cool. Here are a few pics. Thanks girls for a wonderful day!

Weddings...
We got back last night from out ten day, 2600 mile trek over five states. We really had a good trip. The weather was so cool and beautiful in Colorado and the mountains...beautiful. We spent a lot of time with family and did a lot of reminiscing. Fun Valley is the place we took the kids every summer when they were growing up so there were lots of memories made. Now Amy has made one more really big memory. Her and Alex were married on the first at a beautiful bed & breakfast right outside of Southfork, CO. It was just a small gathering of family, about 28 of us. Very intimate and beautiful. I loved it! After it was over and we were taking pictures with the wonderful photographers, I told someone, "I'm beginning to rethink this wedding thing, maybe a small intimate wedding is the way to go." It was just so special. Amy looked absolutely gorgeous...so did Alex! We spent another day fishing, which I might add, I caught 6 trout, fun! Then we headed out on Thursday for the 1000 miles over to Little Rock. We spent 12 hours getting to Oklahoma City and drove between 5 and 6 on Friday on in to Little Rock. We were attending my friends son, Scotty's wedding there. He and Crystal got married on Saturday morning at 10. I have to admit when we were getting up early to get ready, I thought who gets married at 10 in the morning! But the reception was incredible. A full breakfast bar! There was even a couple of chefs cooking gourmet omelets! Wow, it just don't get much better than that! We drove back to SA after the wedding and stopped in Dallas at Pappadeauxs for a birthday dinner. Except for all the many miles, we had a really wonderful time. Two beautiful weddings and precious time with family and friends. A few more moments...
