Here I Am!

I know, I know, it has been awhile since I posted.

I'm not sure if I've been busy or just haven't had anything too say. Sometimes I wonder why I even try to have this blog. I haven't even had time this past week to read blogs. So if you're wondering why I haven't been commenting, it's cause I haven't been reading.

My job has changed. Wilma decided to abandon me and leave my with all those guys! Shame on you Wilma! ;) I miss her already! So I've been transitioning into her job and part of my job has gone to James, who has come on the pastoral staff. I'm handing over alot of mine to him and the whole goal is to cut my work week by another day. How many people take a pay cut after 6 years? ME! That's what you do to make things better in the end. But less pay to me means less days at the office. Oh, it may take me awhile to get there, but I will. Of course I will fill the other day full of ministry stuff, I'm sure.

Besides the job transition we've started remodeling the kitchen area. So my whole living room and dining room and kitchen are in an upheavel. That has taken up my brain cells. And then baby casen was born and baby ellie has been sick and on, and on. I just basically cannot focus! So here I am rambling on and on...

Life Groups started tonight. So if you're not involved in one, you need to be. The ladies started a Bible study with Beth Moore, "Stepping Up." It seems like it's going to be quite good. I'm doing it a little different this time and we'll see how it goes. We'll have the video one week and study group discussion the next. So you'll get two weeks to do one week in the study guide. So if you're not going to a group already, I'd love to have you. We have a good mix of age groups covered. 21 so far. Just let me know so I can order you a book.

Also, we are having alot of new stuff going on for the ladies planned for the year. The first being a themed service once a quarter. The first one will be Tues, Feb 19th. So ya'll that are close plan on coming.

Good grief this has become an information blog for First Ladies. Maybe I need to start a blogspot for SAF Ladies!
