Fragrant Offering

What a fragrant, beautiful offering of worship was sacrificed this morning around the altar. Heaven was loosed in our midst as women and men began to move toward God in a wonderful expression of worship to our Lord. As worship grew more and more intimate in the sanctuary people began to move unprompted to the front...arms extended, faces turned up, as Jesus gazed upon their faces. Some bowed, some danced, some laid before Him alone in a room full of people. It was the sweetest worship service I have been in, in a long time. I believe the presence we experienced at the retreat carried over to this morning. That's what happens when women worship...

Oh sweet Jesus help us keep our eyes turned ever toward you and help us continually dwell in that secret place, enabling your power to manifest through us every where we go.

How wonderful that you had a glorious time in the presence of the Lord. His presence was also manifested with us this morning. Sometimes the sanctuary just absolutely drips with His presence, and this morning in our normally rather reserved crowd, there were people with hands in the air, seeking His face. I really pray that the breakthroughs we experienced at the retreat will not be bottled up and bogged down in the pressures and mundane things of living. I want revival! I want it for First A/G, I want it for GCFF, I want it for San Angelo and all the surrounding communities. I want to learn how to hold onto what we gained; to march forward with Him into a revival that makes the last 2 Great Awakenings look like child's play. I want to be a part of the movement that ushers in the presence of the Lord in a way that has not been seen in this country since it's founding. He has promised that when we turn to Him, He will meet us more than halfway. I can't wait!

A beautiful time where we basked in the mighty presence of the Lord. Angels were surely present. So many churches do not have services like this anymore. God lift up our brothers and sisters that are crying out for God's presence in their lives. I'm so thankful we have a pastor that allows the Spirit to move and he does not step in to hinder.
