One Happy Grama!

Well I know you've probably all read sarah's blog and know how sad she is but this grama is having the time of her life. we had been at the district campground for the ministers retreat, which was great, and drove over to plano to see the kids for a day. we got to bring ellie home with us since this weekend is her mommy and daddy's 2nd wedding annivesary. she misses her mommy and daddy a whole bunch but is really putting her chin in the air and sucking it up for the old folks. I don't know how anyone could not help falling in love with this little princess!

Ya know I've seen lots of mommies over the years sitting in the back seat with the baby and thought how stupid they looked hanging out in the back with the kid while the poor husband set up front all alone. all I could think of was, spoiled kid. well guess what...spoiled kid! grama set in the back 4 of the 5 hours it took us to get home. And I didn’t care what anyone thought! We played, and napped, and grinned, and squealed, and ate, and had the best time. Pa watched us in the mirror. I could tell he wanted to crawl back there and play too. She did so good driving for that long. Never even got cranky. Course grama can be pretty entertaining.

She is such a sweetheart with the best disposition and sweet nature. Her mommy and daddy have sure done a good job. I am so very proud of her, and them.
