Today is my best friend from childhood's anniversary. 30 years ago today, July 23, 1977, 3 weeks before me and David, her and Steve got married. I can't believe it's been 30 years! That makes ours even more real. In 3 weeks it will be us. WOW! Kylah and I, along with Matt & Mandy (they met us there) went to Lake LBJ on Saturday for the family celebration their kids gave them. It was a small family celebration, but very nice and how great it was to be with my second family. It had been awhile. Steve is an old family friend of my family's and I introduced them. Pam and I had all our kids together. Landon is 4 months older than Leah, Kylah is 19 hours older than Scotty, ( we were in the same hospital room even!) and Mark is 4 months older than Matt. We were inseparatable all the years our kids were growing up. It was like we had 6 kids. The kids were always together as well. What a great time we had raising our kids.
