Pretty Mailbox

Okay, my Saturday was going to be so productive. We were going to mow, plant some foilage I got at Lowe's, clean my house, do laundry, bath Laney...this was all I got done at my house. I've been wanting to do this for 3 years and finally planted a couple of plants about a month ago. Jo and I picked up the stuff and put the border in in about 15 minutes. Looks pretty good, huh! Drive by and get a better look. Well I did pull weeds all morning, I forgot about that, and got this little area pretty much ready for the border. I also found this wonderful "Black-eyed Susan." I've been wanting one all spring. I pulled those little stickery goat-head type weeds that have overtaken the front part of my yard until my fingers looked like a pin cuhsion. I picked up some weed killer at lowes that is suppose to work. So tomorrow I hope to get the rest of this stuff done. We also have a leak in the guest room. we thought it was the rain but now think it could be the a/c unit that is in the attic above that room. I went in there yesterday and about a 4X4 section of ceiling is in the floor. GREAT! That will taken precedence first thing in the morning. The rest of our day was spent at the kotze house. the place looks really great. I know, it doesn't make sense to help them when I'm so bummed about them leaving, but I'm hoping michael will be so in love with his house he can't leave it! yeah right...
