Obsessed!

I have just had the best time!

I went to the Colts game with some friends. But that's not what I'm referring to, although it was quite enjoyable. Not the game really, I don't think I watched any of it, it was the conversation.

It was what I did as soon as I walked in the door...

Plopped down on the sofa, grabbed my laptop, and...

That was about 2 hours ago and I am still here. After about 20 minutes of blogging, I looked around the room and in the recliners were David and Jo, each with their laptops, laughing and typing. I've checked them at least a half a dozen times today, the last time right before we walked out the door for the game. And what did I do as soon as I got home...

What is really hilarious about this whole obsession is that every (no not all, some people need to get on the ball here!) blog had changed and there were numerous comments on each.

Very entertaining and inspiring.

Well, at least I'm not a lonely addict.

Pathetic?

Blessed.

Love it!

Okay, all together now, let me hear you sing...

You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dears
How much I love ya'll
Please don't take my sunshine away!

Side Note: I just want to know how many of you really sang it?

oh man... i just typed this eloquent comment and lost it...
The gist of it was I am so glad you are having so much fun (colts game, blogging, Ellie, being connected to people) You are a real blessing in so many people's lives. So often, people in ministry are skiddish about sharing things about their lives (and I completely understand WHY) but you have let us take a peek into your world and it is a wonderful life! Thanks for sharing what you have with all of us!

as for the addiction, I can't imagine what my life would be like without all these blogs to check - I mean, I might not have a sinkful of dishes, or 6 loads of laundry to fold, peepee sheets to wash - if everything was caught up, WHAT ON EARTH WOULD I DO? I'd probably lose my mind... Thanks girls, for keeping my feet on the ground!

i know what you mean. i check the blogs at least three times a day, more usually. i am now looking for things in my life that would make interesting blogs to write. isn't that funny.

but besides being totally blessed, and getting to know everyone in such a special way, MY TYPING HAS SO IMPROVED. my teacher would be so pleased. i took typing for two years and barely got passed picking with more than two fingers.

the other day hannah peeked in the room and said oh, she's on the blogs again.

we have a very special community here.

i love my blogging sisters!!!!!!!

I know that blogging has made my life a lot easier to deal with all the difficulties that hit a person. Because sometimes when I am in the middle of the difficult problem I forget to look up. But you guys, my friend, remind me too. I know that you were there before but too often I wouldn't saw anything because I was afraid what you might think of me. It is also so easy to write it and let you look at on your time. Sorry about the blog on your comment!!!
Love you!!!

not everyone loves the blog addiction so much...ask my husband! ;)

he was excited for a weekend away in a hotel without wireless internet access.

hmmm....surely he didn't do that on purpose...

What is all I have been talking about the last few blogs?? Going to see Dan, right? Going on vacation, right? Then, someone PLEASE tell me why I am sitting here on the computer instead of ON MY WAY TO DALLAS????? Dan would absolutely kill me...I know he's gonna put me on restriction when I get there. I love you all!!! I'll miss you during my four hour drive!!!!

Its the easy access connection. We can write when we want and read when we want. Not to mention the uplifting tone that has overtaken us all. Who doesn't need or want to be around a room full of ladies ready to comfort you when your down, laugh with you, cry with you. Thank the good Lord for blogging.
